Tabitha Rayne is an incredibly talented lady. Not only does she write steamy hot erotica, but she is also an erotic artist, entertaining blogger and a genuinely lovely person. She makes me laugh and her lovely, supportive words have made me cry (I was tired and emotional – she didn’t mean to!)
That moment… by Tabitha Rayne
Tabitha is a member of the Brit Babes, a group of British erotica authors who have released several anthologies together. Their free book, ‘Sexy Just Walked Into Town‘, was my introduction to Tabitha and her short story ‘The Scribe’ is actually one of my all-time favourites. It is a sensual, erotic tale of a woman’s need to paint her arousal on her body until the ink drying on her skin feels like “…being licked by a tiny angel.” She has a wonderful way with words, imaginative, sometimes amusing, sometimes dark and edgy; but always hot and oh lordy does she know how to write good sex!
Her work ranges from dystopian erotic fantasy, in ‘The Meeting Place’ trilogy, to her take on billionaires, in ‘Sexy Just Got Rich‘, and naughty ghosts in ‘Mia’s Books‘. Check out her book list here. Tabitha also contributed a fantastic story to the Erotic World Book Day anthology, ‘An Intimate Education‘ (all proceeds go to the sexual health charity Brook).
She is one of the few authors where I enjoy her blog almost as much as her stories. There was was one post that resonated with me early on and has stuck with me ever since. She wrote it around the time of the Blogger censorship debacle. The Spectre is an eloquent piece about the constrictions of censorship and the effect it has on the people who are censored. After I read that piece, my curiosity piqued, I had a look around her blog only to discover her erotic drawings. Go take a look – they’re beautiful. Long may she continue to write, draw and create because the world would be a very dull place without her work.
